Ruby And Diamond Necklace by Cartier
Elisabeth Taylor tries on the ruby and diamond necklace by Cartier in Saint-Jean-Cap Ferrat in august 1957, a gift from her husband Mike Todd.

The Taylor-Burton diamond, witch was acquired by Cartier at auction in 1969. Less then 48 hours later, Richard Burton had bought what was the twelfth largest diamond in the world at the time as a gift to Elizabeth.
Elizabeth Taylor requested that the Taylor-Burton diamond be removed from its ring setting and set into a diamond necklace by Cartier, witch she wore at the 42nd Academy Award on 7 April 1970.
