MAC Antonio Lopez New Makeup Collection

MAC Cosmetics launched a new makeup collection, celebrating the work of great illustrator Antonio Lopez. He is considered to be the Picasso of fashion illustration. Lopez captured the pulse of style from the 60s to the 80s, and is still revered as the most inspiring illustrator by today’s practitioners. His work appeared frequently in Vogue, Harper’s bazzar, Elle.

“Our collection with Antonio Lopez is symbolic of a time when indulgence was at its peak,” explains James Gager, creative director of MAC Cosmetics. “There was a magic to his world and a time in history that hasn’t been recaptured; I think people are lusting after that glamour, which is difficult to come by today.”
