Marks & Spencer kicks off the Christmas advertising campaign, using social media for the first time. Patrick Bousquet-Chavanne, director of marketing and business development, said: “It’s all about interaction and a conversation with our customers. Digital is the fastest way to be in that conversation and you are going to see us doing more of that.“
The campaign features, aside from beautiful Rosie-Huntington Whiteley, a dashing Helena Bonham Carter, a Mad hatter-esque David Gandy as he host a tea party, and the wizard Bonham Carter. A fairytalestory where beautiful Rosie gives life to fantasy characters inspired from Dorothy from “The Wizard of Oz”, Alice from “Wonderland” and “Little Red Riding Hood”. Join Rosie in her journey through a snow-sprinkled forest and while riding a magic red carpet after losing her Highland Terrier down a rabbit hole, losing all her clothes and reveling her self-designed lingerie as she falls down.
The ad campaign was directed by Johan Renck who has previously created music videos for Beyoncé, Madonna and was responsible for H&M TV ad campaign featuring Lana Del Rey. The result is really breathtaking. Enjoy it, i sure did!
