The new face of Versace Spring 2014 Campaign is Lady Gaga. Known for her extravagant looks, in the latest campaign shot by Mert Alas and Marcus Piggot, Gaga shows a romantic side of herself, draped on a satin sofa, in a lilac wrap dress and her long blond hair flowing down her body. She is a chameleon, her constant visual reinvention is one of the reasons she can be seen lately in fashion publications, so the proposal of the Versace Spring Campaign doesn’t come as a shock.
“I am honoured that my friend Lady Gaga is the face of our new Versace campaign,” Donatella told the Independent before her recent fashion show. “I wanted to capture her true beauty and spirit in images that are elegant and alluring. She is like family to me, the embodiment of the Versace DNA.”
