The New League-CFDA Members Design “Haute Couture” Football Helmets

American National Football League this season was unexpectedly provided with a series of helmets for the game created by participants CFDA – American Council of Fashion Designers. Council President, Diane von Furstenberg has become involved – a bright red helmet with its characteristic pattern Marco can be notice even from the most distant stands.

I am most impressed with the work of designers Marchesa and Badgley Mischka – the first had the entire helmet covered with embroidery, the second – in the manner of Iroquois. Beautifully!
