Sarah Jessica Parker’s New Shoe Collection Launching at Nordstrom

Sarah Jessica Parker will always be known for her shoes and for her love for shoes. So, the “Sex & The City” star has finally decided to turn her obsession into a lucrative project – a shoe line. It makes so much sense, i’m just surprised it didn’t happen until now. But it is never too late. Sarah teamed up with George Malkemus, president of Manolo Blahnik USA and the collection will be available from February 28 exclusively at Nordstrom. The actress and now designer says: “At long last I am able to share the news of my coming shoe collection and my partnership with Nordstrom in a more official way. When I initially met with George Malkemus to discuss the idea of a shoe line, one of the first things I said to him was that Nordstrom was my dream retailer. And so it seems some dreams do come true“.

The made-in-Italy collection features everything from flats and pumps to espadrilles and booties in a variety of colors and heel heights. “These heels are high, but not like you’re on stilts,” says SJP. “There’s nothing sexy about not being able to walk.” Shoe prices will range from $195 to $485 and bags will be $375 and under. “Those are hard-earned bucks so I really tried to give women beautiful silhouettes and colors and excellent quality for their money. I didn’t want to do anything that says, ‘Oh, these shoes are 2014.’ I want my shoes to be a part of the world for a long time to come.

  8. I love SJP really really really much. But I think those shoes are not really a fashion statement. Too standard, not even state a character. Maybe because SJP always be personified to Manolo.
