DSquared2 and Coco Rocha Winners At Inaugural Canadian Arts & Fashion Awards

The Toronto-born twin designers Dean and Dan Caten earned a double victory at the Canadian Arts & Fashion Awards. The renowned Milan based label Dsquared2 was recognized with an award for “Outstanding Achievement” at the inaugural gala, which was held at the Fairmont Royal York Hotel in Toronto on Saturday. The Catens also received the CAFA for international Canadian designer of the year.

The brothers said that they were very happy for the honor : “We are very happy to stay at home again , especially – on such an important occasion, and to welcome our colleagues from the industry. Canada for us is not only the homeland, but also a source of inspiration. So we accept the awards with great pride.” Another native of Canada, which was celebrated on the same evening – the well-known Coco Rocha – won the award “Model of the Year“, and for the ceremony she chose a dress signed Dsquared2.
