Young Designers Duo – Vika and Julia – New Look Book for S/S 2014

A duo of young designers, VikaJulia, presented their unusual look book of the new collection. Known for their illustrations that often appear in Vogue Russia, they shared with the publication the latest Look Book of the Spring/Summer 2014 Collection.

This is the third collection of the girls and it is devoted to orchids – the symbol of perfection, beauty and grandeur – and its strange shape. Designers have studied the structural features of the flower , spreading it on the components, so each element has become part of the costume.

” We borrowed flowing lines , the silhouette and texture of the orchid flower to create an unique style and the interesting design. Particular attention was paid to footwear: sandals resemble plant roots ” – says Vika and Julia. It turned out incredible.
