The evening of 1st April, at the legendary Victoria & Albert Museum, for the first time ever, Nicholas Coleridge, president of Condé Nast International, the editor of the British Vogue Alexandra Shulman, Vogue Italia editor Franca Sozzani and V&A director Martin Roth arranged a dinner in italian style and a preview of the exhibition “The Glamour of Italian Fashion 1995-2014”, which will open on the 5th of April. The exhibition will display 120 items, kits and accessories of the greatest fashion houses that reflect the power and the influence of Italian design and production on the fashion industry since the Second World War to the present day.
Excelency guests attended the dinner and among them Valentino Garavani and Giancarlo Giammetti, Naomi Campbell, Eva Cavalli, Tom Ford and Rita Ora, Angela and Rosita Missoni, Eva Herzigova, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana.
The Glamour of Italian Fashion 1945-2014, sponsored by Bulgari, runs from 5 April – 27 July 2014 at the V&A.
