Ready For The Carousel? The New MAC Collection – Playland – Is Almost Here

MAC brings a glimpse of our childhood back – inoculating the fact that playing with colours today, as grownups, is as fun and creative as we used to do as kids – MAC Playland‘s “toys” are lipsticks and lip glosses in candy colours, eyeliners, universal remedies for lips and cheeks, coloured bright orange and blue shades for the eyelids. The names attributed to each and one of them speak for themselves : “Head in the Clouds“, “Young at Heart“, “A Lot of Laughter” , “Carousel” – the collection will be available starting early May 2014.

MAC imagined six new colours of lipstick – fuchsia and coral, gentle and fluorescent pink, radiant red and even golden-yellow – and five new shades of lip gloss – pink and purple , peach and coral, as well as gold. For moisturized lips and a long-lasting effect they are just perfect.

One of the most popular MAC product is the colored pigments, now in four new shades. The pigment is a versatile product with a crumbly structure , which can be mixed with any cream or blush, lipstick or nail polish, but are most often used as a shade. MAC created four new shades of highly concentrated pigments: blue , olive, gold and orange.

Another product that we’ve come to love is an universal MAC product for lips and cheeks. It has a creamy and light texture that allows to be applied with the fingers and the vitamin E that its formula contains, nourishes and moisturizes the skin.
