The Twilight actress Kristen Stewart, 24, is the face of Chanel’s Métiers d’Art Collection Paris-Dallas 2013/14 campaign. After being the face of Balenciaga she continues her work in the fashion world, with Chanel this time. “I did a photo shoot with Bruce Weber when I was 14 for Interview magazine. I met Nicolas Ghesquière [Balenciaga’s then creative director, now at Louis Vuitton]. I was blown away—fashion became less superficial in my eyes, though it wasn’t my thing. A couple of years later, he called me up. He had stuck out [to me] as an artist. Fashion has the best and worst people. The gems stick out. He was a designer I wanted to be around. He was so creative. If I have to walk red carpets, if I have to be in fashion, then I want to be with him.” – Kristen is aid for Marie Claire.
The photos were taken by Karl Lagerfeld himself and about her working with this fashion legend she said to Grazia magazine: “The only intimidating thing about [Karl] really is that scary unapproachable facade which is something people project onto him I think. Because when you meet him or you have the opportunity to watch him work or in my case “work with him” he is so awesome… It shocked me what a well-rounded and talented photographer he is. How truly into it he actually was. Basically and obviously, he is so much more than a fashion designer; he is a true renaissance man, one of the greatest artists of our time.“
