Bernard Arnault Set The Date for The Opening of The LVMH Museum in Paris

The Louis Vuitton Foundation in the Bois de Boulogne

Paris – a city that has already so much to offer that one week is hardly enough to discover it and get familiarised with, has now a new cultural and architectural attraction – the Foundation Louis Vuitton, a giant and impressive architecture designed by Frank Gehry, situated near Bois de Boulogne park, that will finally open its doors on October 27. The project for the LVMH museum, initiated in 2006, aims to support the development of contemporary art, both in France and internationally.

This mammoth building, which resembles a cloud of glass flying over the Paris Botanical Garden, covers  126,000 square feet, and contains 11 galleries, and terraces offering a gorgeous view of Paris. Bernard Arnault‘s biggest project ever, that will showcase the corporate art collection of LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, with costs over 100 million euros, will be the most luxurious house for the future exhibitions of art, events and concerts.
