Gallery Véro-Dodat, also known as the Passage, is one of the most famous places in the First Arrondissement. It is there for over 150 years, a real piece of heaven full of Parisian charm, hosting many elegant boutiques, decorations, art gallery and a variety of great restaurants. For the fashionistas the attraction is the Christian Louboutin workshop-boutique, situated at the entrance to the arcade – Rue Jean-Jacques Rousseau. Some people called Gallery Véro-Dodat, jokingly, “Passage Louboutin” – maybe also because on this particular street, most women wear his shoes with red soles.
The designer’s latest collection of accessories is inspired by this street, an homage to the arch entrance to the gallery – it includes three models with shining handles and red is an omnipresent colour that is found in the details of each bag. Also the bags from the Rougissime line has been refreshed, the materials vary from calf leather and pony skin to luxurious exotic models.
