Sunday Readings – 3 Books That Will Change Your Life Perception

There are so many ways to enlarge our world and I believe that – along with travelling which I am addicted to, for it connects you instantly to the culture of the places and people’s customs – reading adds up a new value to our lives. What can be best than people sharing their life experiences with the  solid purpose of opening new perspectives and new doors towards our evolution? Always have been a reading lover and today I bring to you the 3 books that I recently read and opened up a new way of seeing life for me. Just like in a fashion editorial where each photographer, given the same outfits and model, will create a different story, his story. We are all writers, we write our lives minute after minute, just didn’t have the awareness of that till now. And sometimes, when life takes us in places where we don’t want to be and have no clue how we ended up there, reading makes a difference, because it reveals that all the situations we encounter are self-made and in the same time vital for taking our life to a completely new level.. And I mean personal development books like these, that made me realise that we are the master art directors of the movie called “Life”, and we create all the stories that in the end will make THE story, the life story, of each and every one of us! Don’t waste a minute of it! Is the best gift that we were given – sadly whatever comes for free we take for granted, such as our health, the air that we breathe, the restless pounding heart in our chests, the hearing of music, the delight of tasting a tiramisu, the sight that explores the beauty of this amazing planet, the feelings, the free will.

Whenever you read a good book, somewhere in the world a door opens to allow in more light.” – Vera Nazarian

The Power of Now – Eckhart Tolle

It is not uncommon for people to spend their whole life waiting to start living.” – Eckhart Tolle, The Power of Now.

Never content or in a gratitude state of mind, we are always on the rush to either be someplace else or have something more – like a different house or drive a better car, fancier chlotes and so on – and we miss the entire process of life happening to us in this exact moment, NOW, no other time, not the past, nevertheless the future. “The Power of Now” is a spiritual guide, translated in over 30 foreign languages, recommended by Oprah Winfrey, helping people to find their true and deepest self. Powerful!

Rich Dad Poor Dad- Robert Kiyosaki

When you are young work to learn, not to earn” – Robert Kiyosaki.

If you take a close look to all the succesful people you’ll notice that the one thing they all have in common is that they never stop learning and improving, and they have an incredible positive, solution focused mindset. Knowledge is power people say – fulfilled people say that putting your knowledges to work, THAT is power! One of the books I stumbled upon recently is “Rich Dad, Poor Dad” by Robert Kiyosaki, sold in over 32 million copies – born in India and raised in Hawaii, american businessman and author, known in the entire world for his financial educational books, had the desire to help people manage in a clever way their assets for a better future. With analogies based on Kiyosaki’s life, the book underlines the importance of financial independence and  building wealth through investing in real estate, assets, or starting your own business. Basically a financial education that we can all benefit from.

The Power Of Intention – Wayne Dyer

You don’t need to be better than any one else you just need to be better than you used to be” – Wayne W. Dyer

Wayne was a psychologist and international speaker and author, with more than 40 published books in the field of self-development. He changed the vision of the world, the value of his work is simply mind-blowing, helping us to take a deep look at ourselves, embrace the inner child that we are and ask him: “Who are you? Is it ok where I have taken you so far? Are you happy?

A mind at peace, a mind centered and not focused on harming others, is stronger than any physical force in the universe.” – Wayne Dyer

Wish you all an amazing Sunday! : )

I have yet to read Wayne Dyer’s Books but love his videos and speech. Kept me through rough times. ♥ Wish he was still alive, but as they say everything has its end so that it can begin anew somewhere… thank you for sharing.
