At the end of February there will be a new model of sneakers in Prada stores – studded with crystals, hardly useful to go out to jog or to the gym, but, on the street you are sure to become the most noticeable woman. It’s the second time around that the French fashion house, Maison Martin Margiela, collaborates with the cult sneaker label, Converse. The revisited models are the classic All Star Chuck ’70 and Jack Purcell, only unlike last time, Maison Martin Margiela’s Spring/Summer 2014 Converse are made of leather, and not textile.
